Adventure Camp/VBS

 

Thanks to all who gave so much of their time and resources to make this year's Summer Adventure (Vacation Bible School) a wonderful success. We had 20-25 kids each night and fed around 60 people(kids, family members, and volunteers) each night. God's amazing word was the theme and the kids know for sure that God's word is true, comforting, surprising, life changing, and for everyone! You can see several pictures on the VBS website( www.groupvbspro.com/vbs/ez/bumc) from the Memorial Day float - to the building of the set - as well as memorable pictures of our amazing week. We finished up the week with VBS Sunday on June 27th. Several of the kids brought their families and they put on quite a show at the 10:30 worship service, with lots of singing, dancing, and a fun skit. An ice cream social wrapped up everything. Once again a big word of thanks goes to the 50 plus volunteers, all the families and the kids, and all the people who donated items and prayed for the Summer Adventure Camp.Of course, our biggest thanks and praise goes to our Lord, who provided everything, gave strength, and changed lives.
