The mission of the Belfast United Methodist Church is to be a community of Disciples in service for Jesus Christ, sharing God's love with all.

Community Mission Team

COMMUNITY MISSIONS TEAM

Members of the Belfast United Methodist Church Community Missions Team gather together whenever there is a need in the community for assistance. Projects have included, but are not limited to:

Shingling roofs                                Fixing a water pump

Painting                                          Putting dowen a pad for a fuel tank

Stacking wood                                Installed cupboards

Winterizing homes                          Widened doorway for a wheelchair

Building a handicap accessible ramp      Put down a sub-floor and did soem plumbing       

Reparing windows                          Insulated a fuel line

Doing light carpentry                      Sheetrocked walls and ceiling

Each request that is received is reviewed by the committee chairs.
