Finance

"The mission of the Belfast United Methodist Church Finance Committee is to oversee the financial matters of the church and to keep the congregation informed of its finances. Our goal is to be good stewards of the congregation’s gifts to God, and to encourage stewardship in all areas of ministry and missions."

“The mission of the Belfast United Methodist Church Worship Committee is to strive to offer a variety of praise and worship services to fulfill the needs of the congregation while giving multi-sensory, uplifting, and inspirational experiences.”

“The mission of the Christian Education Committee is to provide opportunities for our church family and members of our community to which individuals may learn and grow in spirit and faith.”

| Evangelism |
“The mission of the Evangelism Committee is to spread the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through outreach, hospitality, personal witness, and the promotion of the missions and ministries of the Belfast United Methodist Church.”

| Mission |
“The mission committee of the Belfast United Methodist Church acts as the hands and feet of our Lord Jesus Christ, committed and dedicated to the service of others-locally, nationally, and internationally.

| Trustees |
This committee oversees, maintains, and supervises all local church property, including buildings and grounds. It receives and administers all gifts made to the church other than the general offering. It manages all trust accounts, oversees investments and maintains adequate insurance coverage for church property, as well as developing appropriate risk management policies.

| SPRC |
(Staff-Parish Relations Committee) This committee is responsible for all appointed and employed personnel related to the church, ensuring that all employees receive fair and impartial consideration for salaries and benefits. The PPRC is the liaison between the pastor and the parishioners.

| Welcoming |
This mission of the Welcoming Committee is to create a friendly, welcoming enviroment for all who enter our church and to involve the entire congregation in living the "Open Hearts, Open Minds, and Open Doors" promise.
